"nvor Lackey stated reopen for cell, to -wit: For the purpose of allo'rxing expenses of Yayor and -City Solicitor to go to Frankfort, and such otbrr business no tiny come before the Board. Commissioner Rutter offered the following motion: 77HFFrAS, it is necessary Mayor k that the lenyor and City Solicitor attend a conference of other mayors and City `olicitor representatives of second class cities at Frankfort, Kentucky on 'Vednesday, January to Prank- - fort 15th, to consider with them matters vitally affecting second class cities, including the pity of Paducah, and the estimated cost of such trip is $80.00, I norr move that the Mayor and City Solicitor be and they are hereby authorized and instructed to attend said conference on behalf of the City of Paducah, and that the Commissioner of Public Finance be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to pay to the Mayor the sum of $80.00 for the purpose of defraying the expense of said trip.
