At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners';
Chamber in the City Hnll Building in the City of Par'uenh, Kentucky at 2 o'clock P.M.,
on the 9th day of December, 1929, Mnyor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the
following answered to their names: Commissioners Bradshaw, Fannin, Nelson, Rutter
and Ynyor Lackey, (5).
Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read.
Commissioner Rutter offered the following motion: The following claim
Claims
having been duly approved for allowance and payment:
E.L. Beyer & Co., - Excavating on -16th & 19th Streets $ 95.00
Louis Green - Park Supplies 16.50
Total �3I11.50
I move the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to pay some and charge to the
proper departments. Adopted on call of the roll; Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw,
Hannin, Nelson, Futter and Mnyor Lackey, (5).

son claim Mnyor Lackey offered motion thnt the claim of A.S.Bhompson against Merkle

Merkle Contracting Company for $5772.67 be received and filed. Adopted on call of the
roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5).
F.J.Kerkle Mayor Lackey offered the following -motion: The City National Bank or

:4000.00 Paducah having T esented to the city an order a -d assignment from E.J. Merkle reciting
to rd.
Green that the said Merkle for value received does assign and transfer to Ed. Green $4000.00
on account of the sewer contract with the city of Paducah held by the said E.J.Merkle,
and directing that said sum be paid to the said Ed Green and charged to the account
of said Merkle, which assignment and transfer Is dated August 30, 1929, -

the city of Paducah assume no liability or obligations by reason thereof. Adopted

Mayor Lackey offered motion that the report of the McCracken County
