At a call meeting of the Board of Commisn'lonors hold in the
Commissioners' Chamber in the City lin ft Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky
at 11:00 o'clock A.M., on the 16th day of Novemb^.r, 1929, Wyor Lackey presided and

`:ayor Lackey stated reason for call, to -wit: For tho purpose of
granting extension of time to Cnrey-Ro,-d ^ompnny on Contracts 1 Find 8, end such other
business as may come before the Board.
Commissioner Bradshaw offered motion that the claim of John G. Palmer,
J.G.Palmer

Comrission•r Bradshaw offered motion that the communication from

Co.,granted Carey -Reed Company, contractors, and the Maryland Casualty Company, surety in its
extension
on Cont.$8 contract bond, requesting an extension of time until May 1, 1930 within which to
complete :treat Paving Contract No.8, 1929, Jefferson Street from 32nd Street to 34th
Street, and on 35th Street from its junction with Jefferson Street to Central Avenue,
be received and filed and that said extension be granted. Adopted on call of the
