At a call meeting of the Board of Commiscionera hold in the
Commissioners' Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah,
Kentucky at 10 o'clock a.m., on the 24th day of October, 1929, Mayor Lackey
presided and unon enll of the roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Hannin, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (3).
Mayor Lackey stated reason for call, to -wit; For the purpose
of opening bids on Contract Ro.10, and such other burin^s as may come
before the Board.
Commissioner Hannin offered motion thnt the following bids
Washington street- for the construction of sidewalk, driveways, curb and gutter on Washington
16th to 17th Sts.
sidewalk, etc bids Street, from the west property line of Sixteenth Street to the East property
opened
line of Seventeenth Street, be received and filed and that the certified
checks occompaning some be delivered to the Commissioner 8$' Public Finance
to be held subject to tt,e further orders of the Board of Commissioners:

I move that further consideration of said bid -be deferred until
2 o'clock this afternoon. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas;
Commissioners Hannin, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (3).

business as may come before the Board.
