At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Commissioners' Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky
at 10 oyclock a:m., on the 14th day of October, 1929; Ms•yor Lackey presidod and
upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Comm7s,ioners
Bradshaw,'Nelson and Mayor Lackey,'(3).
Mayor Lackey stated reason for call, to -wit: For the purpose of
opening bids on Contract No.9 for gravel street, and concrete curb, gutter and
driveways on Paxton Street, from Bloom to Alexander, and such other business as may
come before the Board.
•Commissioner Bradshaw offered mohion that the following bids for the
Paxton St.
Blo^m to construction of gravel street, and concrete curb, gutter and driveways on Paxton
Alexander
gravel,etc Street, 'from the West property line of Bloom Avenue to the West property line of
Cont No.9
Bids recid Alexander Avenue, be received and filed and that the certified checks accompnning
same be delivered to the Commissioner of Public Finonce to be held subject to the
further orders of the Board of Commission rs;

And I move that further consideration of the bids be deferred dtntil
the'regulor meeting of the Board of Commissioners this afternoon. Adopted on call
of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradsba^, Nelson, and Mayor Lackey, (3).
