At a call meeting of the board of Commissioners held in the
Commi sinners' Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah,
Kentucky at 10 o'clock a.m., on the 7th day of October, 1929, Mayor lackey
presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter hnd mayor Lackey, (5).
Mayor Lack,y stated reason for call, to -wit: For the purpose of
opening bids on Contract No.B for sidewalk, driveways, curb and gutter on
20th Street and '.heeler Avenue, and such other business as may come before
the board.
20th St., & Commissioner bradshae: offered the following motion: I move that

sidewalks, etc the following bids for the construction of sidewalk, driveways, curb and nutter
Cont. #8 Bids
received. on the west side of 20th Street, from the south curb line of Jackson btreet
to the junction of 20th Street and Wheeler Avenue; and on the South side of
Wheeler Avenue, from the junction of 20th Street and 71heeler Avenue to the
west property line of V Street, under Contract No.B, be received and filed
and that the certified checks accompnning same be delivered to the Commissioner
�•, of Public Finance to be held subject to the further orders of the Board of
Commissioners:

And I move that the further consideration of said bids be deferred
until the regular meeting of the board of Commissioners this afternoon.
Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson,
Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5).
On motion meeting adjourned.
