At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission-
ers' Chamber in the City Ball Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 2 o'clock
p.m., on the 9th dny of September, 1929, is?nyor Lackey presided and upon call of the
roll the following anmcereO to their names: Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson,

Commissioner Bradshaw offered the following motion: It appearing from
Clerk St.
lstn to the eaaninntion of all of the bids for the construction of concrete sidewalks drive -
17th St.
sidewalk, ways, curbs and gutters on Clark Street, from the ;lest property line of 16th Street

intakes, catch basins, sewer and drain pipe, under Contract No.5, that the bid of
J.k.Rouso Contracting Company is the lowest and best bid, I new move that their
pr000sal and bid on said contract according to the proposal and bid submitted with the
plans and specifications, with gravel aggregate in all concrete, be accepted;
and that the I'ayor be authorized, empowered and instructed to enter into a contract
with J.".Rouse Contracting Company, for the construction of said sidewalks, driveways,
curbs and gutters, and the furnishing of such sewer pipe as may be necessary under
ssie. contract, in accordance with the plans end specifications and under the provisions
of the ordnance providing for said impnovement. "'nd I further move that the certified
checks of the unsuccessful bidders be returned to them. Adopted on call of the roll:
