At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Com-
missioners' Chamber in the City Nall Building in the City of Paducah,Kentueky
j at 10 o'clock a.m., on the 9th day of Septembor, 1929, !Mayor Lnekoy presided
and upon call of the roll the following answored to their narxBs:
Commissioners Bradshaw, Rannin, Nelson and Mayor Lackey, (4).
Mayor Lackey stated reason for c,7 l,to-wit: For the purpose of
opening bids on Contract No.5, concrete sidewalks, curb, gutter sad driveways
on Clark Street from 16th to Seventeenth Street, and such other busino" an
may come before the Board.
Commissioner Bradshaw offered the following motion: I move that the
Clark St., 16th to following bids for the construction of sidewalk, curbs, gutters and driveways
17th.,sidcwniks,etc.
bids opened on Cont. ob Clark Street, from the ,Yost property line of Sixteenth Street to the rent

property line of Seventeenth Street, be received and filed, and thnt the certified
checks accompaning some be delivered to the Commissioner of Public Finance
to be held subject to the further orders of the Board of Commissioners:

J.M.Rouse Contracting Company
And I move that the further consideration of said bids be deferred
until the regular meeting of the Board of Co"issioners this aft(,rnoon.
