At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners'
Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 10 o'clock a.m.,
on the 27th day of August, 1929, Mayor Lackey presided and upon cell of the roll the
following answered to their names: Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelcon, Rutter

Ynyor Lackey stated reason for call, to -crit: For the purpose of opening
bids on Contracts numbers 2,3 & 4 for grovel street, sidewalks, curbs, gutters and
driveanys, and such other business as may come before the Board.
Ohio St. Commissioner Bradshaw offered the followring motion: I move that the
25th to following bids for the construction of gravel street, and concrete curbs, gutters
26th.
gravel st and driveways on Ohio Street, from the ':lest curb line of 25th Street to the East curb

tters,etc line of 26th Street, under Contract No.2, be received and filed, and that the

Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and
Mayor Lackey, (5).
Harrison, Commissioner Bradshaw offered motion that the folloring bids for the
City Sts. construction of sidewalks on both sides of Harrison Street, from the Plest property line

Cont.!/3 property line of Fourth Street to the East curb line of Eighth Street; and on
Eighth Street, from the North property line of Madison Street to the South curb line of
Park Avenue, under Contract No.3, be received and filed, and that the certified checks
accompaning same be delivered to the Commissioner of Public Finance to be held subject
to the further orders of the Board of Commissioners,:
