City of Paducah_.I¢NE_ip,19z9.__�_-._ At a call meeting of the Board of Connissioners held in the Commissioners' Chamber in the City Hni 1 Building in the City of Paducah,lientucky at 2 o'clock p.m., on the 19th day of June, 1929, Mnyor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the follavine answered to thoir names: Commissioners Hennin, Nelson, Rutter and V.syor Lackey, (4). Mayor Lackey stated reason for cp11, to -wit: For the purpose of allo-Ing semi-monthly payrolls, and such other business as may come before the Board. Commissioner nelson offered the following motion: The Commiscionor of Con-1ccioners to Public-afety having been authorized by ordinance to sell to M. Baskin n lot of sell iron„Junk,- YrBaekin8checkc junk, iron and brass at Fire Fngine House #1 for the sum of $18.00, and the said received: b1. Baskin having tendered his check for saidamount of ;18.00 drawn on the Cttizens Savings Bank of Paducah, I now move that the said check of the snid M. Baskin for $18.00 be received add delivered to the Commissioner of Public Finance and covered into the General Expenditures Fund. Adopted on call of We rolli Yeas; Commissioners Hannin,Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (4). Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the payrolls for the first Payrolls -First half of June, 1929 be allowed in the amount of $10950.89, and the Commissioner hal£ Junc,1929 of Public Finance authorized to pay some. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Comniszioners Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (4). 2.?ayor Lackey offered the following motion: The City of Paducah and Street Signs cont. R.F..L.Moshell having executed contract for the furnishing of 1952 street 'sled. markers or signs, pursuant to ordinance authorizing same end bids ac epted thereunder, I now move that said contract be received and filed. Adopted on •call of the roll: Yens; Cormissioners Hannin, Belson, Rutter and ?syor Lnckey,(4).
