HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Book 18, Page 299, June 17, 1929No. 299 Proceedings of BC^ rr. of, "0 T 37 rr City of Paducah__ At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners' Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 2 o'clock p.m., on the 17th day of Tune, 1919, Mayor Lackey G, presided and upon call of the roil the following answered to their nemoa: Comniissioners Hannin, Faison, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (4). Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as road. Commissioner Hannin offered the following motion: The parties to an action in icCracken Circuit Court, VI.F.Patton plaintiff and S.K.Hale defendant, having Patton va Hale certified copy agreed to a judgment regarding the ownership in and to certain lots referred of judgment file4. to as being in Block No.20 in Oak Grove Cemetery, by the terms of which agr,ed judgment between the said :7.F.Pat-ton and S.K.Hale Lot 11o.307 in said Block No.20 to a depth of 30 feet was adjudged to the said 7!.F.Patton, and the balance of said Lot No.307 and all of 318, as shown on the plat of Oak Grove Cemetery and as described in said judgment, is adjudged to the said S.K.Hale, 2 noe: move that a certified copy of said judgment be received and filed and that the Commissioner of Public Property be instructed to cause the superintendent of Oak Grove Cemetery to so divide said two lots as to conform to said judgment. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas; Cormissioners Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (4). Commissioner Hannin offered motion that the deed of conveyance from Mary Mary Davis to C.A.& F.L.Coleman-deed to Davis to C.A. & F.L.Coleman to the East one-half of West one-half of Lot No. 10, lot In Oak Grove Block No.14 in Oak Grove Cemetery in the City of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, eubject to the rules and regulations of said cemetery and subject to the conditions of said deed, be now ratified and apnroved by the Board of Commissioners. Adopted on the call 6 the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hnnnin, Nolnon, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (4). Lusle Poston to Commissioner Fannin offered motion that the deed of conveyance from Zusio Luella Lig7ins-deed ` Poston to Luella Liggons to the West half of Lot No.53, Block 11o.5 on the to lot in Cak Grove North side of Chamblin Strect rind between Ford Street and Hannin Street in Oak Grove Cemetery in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, subject to the rules and rerulations of said cemetery and subject to the co dations of sold deed, be now ratified and opproved by the Board of Commiaaioncrs. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yens; Comniscioners Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (4). Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the report of collections and Ooll.octio disbursements for the month of May, 1929 be received and filed. Commissioner Rutter offered motion that sundry claims for amount of Sundry Claims- $438.08, approved for alloriance b -r the Board of Park Commissioners be allaied nnd the Fark Board Commissicner of T1ublic Finance authorized to pay same and charge to the Park Fund. Adopted on cell of the roll: Yeas: Commissioners Hanhin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (4). Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the report of the Special 6trect =pecial St.Impv. Mayor Lackey offered motion that the report of the Paducah 'later Vlorks Paducah "7ntcr '•Tks Company for mains and fire plugs laid and completed, bearing date of June 10, 1929, Co.report be received and filed. Mayor Lackey offered the followin, motion: The City National Bank Contract of Paducah having delivered to the City of Paducah, a contrnct between the City City :�at+lllational Bank nnd F..J.Yerkle, doing busine s as the ''erkle Contracting Company, which Bank contract bears date of June 10th, 1929, and it being the desire of the City National Bank ane: of said 1'erkle that said contract be filed with the proceedings of the Board of Corrniscioners of the City of Paducah, I no,.,., -ove that said contract be received and filed.
