Proceedings of BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS City OF Paducah Kc,VTUCA"Y MAY 15, 1929
At a call meeting of the uoard of Comissioners held in tke Commissioners'
Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah, rOntucky at 10 o'clock a.m.,
on the 15th day of Vay, 1929, Mnyor I:ackey presided and upon call of the roll the
following answered to their names: Commissioners Bradsbow, Hannin, Nelson, Itutter and
Mayor Lackey, (5).
Mayor Lackey stated reason for call to -wit: For the purpose of opening bids
on Contracts Nos. 2,3 and 4, and such other business as may come before the board.
Commissioner bradshaw offered the following motion: I move that the following
4th, 5th, bids for the construction and reconstruction of the driveway on 4th Street from the
Mad.Clay
F.arrison South property line of Madison Strect to the South property line of Clay Street; and
Streets -
Bids for on 5th Strect from the South property line of Madison Street to the South property
H.S.6Rened
line of Clay Street; and on Madison Street from the West property line of 4th Street to
the East property line of 5th Street; and on Harrison Otreet from the west property
line of 4th Street to the East property line of 8th Street; and on Clay Street from the
East property line of 4th Street to the West property line of 9th Street, Herder
Contract No.2, be received and filed, and that the certified checks accompaning
same be delivered to the Commissioner of Public 1•'innnce to be held subject to the
further orders of the board.of Commissioners:

Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson,
Rutter and Yoyor Lackey, (5).
Commissioner Bradshaw offered motion thot the following bids for the
8th, 9th construction and reconstruction of the driveway on Ninth Street, from the Louth

Eighth Street from the South property line of Madison street to the North property
line of burnett Street; and on Madison Otrect, from the lest property line of eighth
Street to the East property line of Ninth Street, under Contract tto.3, be received
and filed and that the certified checks aceompsning same be delivered to the
Co^^issioner of Public Finonce to be held subject to the further orders of the board
