At a Regular ';,.sting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Coa:ninsioners' Chamber In the City Roll Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky
at 2 o'clock P.m., on the 19th any or Novembor, 1926, Mnyor Lackey presidcrl nnd.
upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Bradshnw, Nannin, Nelson, Rutter nnd h`.ayor Lackey, (5).
Unutes of the previous meetinC.s were ndonted no read.
Commissioner Bradshaw offere•l the following motion: It aoperring from
the osamination of all the bids received for the construction of gravel street on
S. 11th St. contract South 11th Street from the North curb line or Jackson treat to the North property
for gravel aw-rded , P P y
Duke Williams line of Adamn Strcet, under Contract No.4, thnt the bid of Luke •'iliiams is the
lowest and best bid, I move that their proposal and bid on said contract, nccord.ing
to the proposal and bid submitted -with the plans and specifications, for the
construction of said street by grading nnca graveling seine with bank gravel, as pro-
vided in the specifications, be accented; and that the Mayor be authorized,
empowered nnd instructed to enter into a contract with Duke t:'illiams for the
construction of said street by grading and graveling same with bank grovel, in
accordance -ith the pions and specifications and under the provisions of the
ordinsnce providing for said improvement.
And I further move that the certified checks of the unsuccessful
bidders be returned to them. Adopted on the call of the roll: Commissioners
Bradohaw, Hannin, Nelaon, Rutter and ?:ayor Lackey, (5).
Commissions Rutter offered motion that the payrolls for the first ;
