McClelland, cance118d requesting that his permit to make excavations in the streets and other public ways in the City of Paducah in connection with his plumbing business, be cancelled and that. his surety in his bond be discharged from further linbility, I now. move that said request be received and filed and that said permit be cancelled as of this date, and that the surety, Fidelity & Deposit Company of Maryland, be released from liability for any acts under said permit occurring after this date, but is not released from any liability accruing prior to date hereof. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and L.ayor Lackey, (5). Commissioner Bradshaw offered the following motion: J.N. Rouse Contracting Company having executed conttruction bond for the construction of sidewalk, driveways, curb and gutter on Atkins Avenue from 13th Street to J.?,,'. Rouse Contract 14th Street, and having executed Contract No.5 covering said work, which bond No.5 received and filed has been approved by the Mayor and signed by J.M.Rouse Contracting Company as principal and the Maryland Casualty Company of Baltimore, Md., as.surety, and the contract approved by the City Solicitor, I now move that said contract and bond be received and filed and that the certified bid check of J,LI,Rouse Cobtracting Company be delivered to it by the Commissionar of Public Finance. Commissioner Bradshaw offered motion that the J.M.Rouse Contracting Company having executed construction bond for the construction of Jn.Rmrse Contract ' 770.4 received and driveways, curb anti gutter on N. 13th Street from Atkins Avenue to present filed city limits, and hr+ving executed Contract 110.4 covering said work, which bond hoabron approved by the r.:ayor and signed by J.M.T.ouse Contracting Company as Principal and the :'aryland Casualty of Baltimore, Md., as curoty, and the contract approved by the City Solicitor, I now move that snid contract and bond be receive! and filed and that the certified bid check of J.'c,Roune Contracting ''o.=pary be deliverod to it by the Commissioner of Public Finnneo. City of Paducah , KENTUCKY.- IIOVPI413I:11 5th, 1928 street by grading and graveling same, according to the plans and spocificetlons and the bid submitted therewith, and the said Auto Livery Com;ny and Duke Williams having executed bond with the Fidallty & Deposit Company of Maryland as surety, to secure the performance of said contract, :.hich bond and contract were duly executed and approved in all respects on the 2nd day of November, 1928, I non move that said ddniract and bond be received, ratified add filed; and that the bid check which was 'Pled with the C,ommisnioner of Public Finance by said successful bidder be returned to them.
