At a Call Meeting of the Board of Coimnissioners hold in the Cormnissloners�
Chamber'in the City H^11 Building in the City of Paducah, Kentucky at 2 o'clock
P.M., on the 23rd day of October, 1928, in the absence of Mayor Lackey
Corunissioner Belson presided as '.layer pro tem and upon call of the roll the
following answered to their names: Commissioners Bradshm-, Hanning Rutter and
Mayor pro tem Nelson, (44.
Mayor pro tom Nelson stated reason fro dell to -wit: For the purpose of
receiving sidewalk, curb and gutter construction on C]ashington Street from 19th
Street to 22nd Street „ and such other business as may come before the Board.
Commissioner Bradshaw offered the following motion: Yancy Brothers,
Contractors, having comp]Joted the construction of sidewalk, curb and gutter on
Wasbington St.,19th
to 21st sidewalk,
;;ashington Street, from the West property line of Nineteenth Street to the East
curb & gutter
accepted.
curb line of Twenty-first Street, and notice having heretofore been given on the
17th day of October, 1928, that the Board of Commissioners would in the fore
noon on Tuesday, October 23, 1928, inspect said sidewalk, curb and gutter and all
work incident thereto and would be in session at 2 oIclock P.M., on the 23rd day
of October, 1928, in the Commiseionerst Chamber in the City Hall Building in
the City of Paducah, Kentucky, to hear any complaints or protests with reference
to the doing and acceptance of said work and the cost thereof as set out in said
notice, and said Board of Commissioners having so inspected said work and finding
same has been completed in accordance with said contract, I now move that said
si''ewalk, curb and gutter and all work done in connection therewith be accepted;
some being known as Sidewalk,Curb and Gutter Contract No.2, Yancy Brothers,
Contractors, and that the engineer's estimated cost of same be confirmed and that
said estimates be turned over to the Commissioner of Public Finance for collection,
and that the City Solicitor be instructed to prepare an ordinance assessing the
property as shown by the Engincerfs estimates. Adopted on the call of the
roll: Ye,s; Commissioners Bradshaw, Rennin, Rutter and I,'.ayor pro tem Nelson,(4).
Commissioner Bradshaw offered motion to adopt an ordinance entitled,
