At a call meeting of the Board of Aldermen, held on the Third Floor of the City
Hall, in the City of Paducah, Ly., May the 12th, 1924.
Upon the call of the roll the following answered..to their names: Alliston,
Ashcraft, Brooks, Cochran, Cole, tcieke and Yopp. (7).
Ucmber Cochran presided over the meeting, having been elected President Pro Tem
in the absence of President 6ennedy.
The Mayor's message was read and on motion same was redeived and filed on the
call of the rolls Yeas (7).
Member Yopp offered motion that the resolution be adopted as read in accordance
with the recomc:endation of the Committee on Railroads, Telegraph & Telephones, in regard
Consolida_ionto the transfer of the properties of the Home Telephone Company to the Cumberland
of Te 1ep;_o7U3
'c -manioc• Telephone & Telegraph Company. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas: Alliston,
hshcraft, Brooks, Cochran, Cole, Rieke and Yopp. (7).
Member Rieke offered motion to concur in the action of the Board of Councilmen
in regard to approving the appointees named by the Mayor, to the office of Board of
PIWrA)IM,; Plumbing Examiners and Plumbing Inspector: Ernest J. Baumgard, Plumbing Inspector.

Inzpec',ri, Board of Plumbing Examiners: Master Plumbers:- Ed Hannan and Virgil Chastaine.
Journeyman Plumbers: Jim Reed and Jack Coulson, provided a salary for said Board of
Examiners may be fixed, if demanded, in accordance with the provisions of the law.
Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas: Alliston, Ashcraft, Cole, Rieke and Yopp.(5)

Member Cole offered motion that the resolution be adopted as read, accepting
the application of J. R. McIntyre for change in alley in Block "10" of Charles K.Wheeler's
-''=J =•-•-±.Addition to the City of Paducah, and the alley described in the deed of dedication
from J. R. UcIntyre & wife, is hereby accepted. Adopted on the call of the roll
by circ folloain_ vote: Yeas: Alliston, Ashcraft, Brooks, Cochran, Cole, zielce and
Yopp. (7).
