xt a call meeting of the Board of Aldermen held on the Third Floor of
the City Hall, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, December 31dt, 1927, President
Hannin prosided, and upon the call of the roll the following answered to their
names: H renin, Bell, Cole, Davis, Hendricks, and Tyree (6).
On motion of Membor Davis the Mayor's reason for call vias received
and filed.
On motion of Member Cole the claim!( of the.Paducah .later Company
amounting to $29.60, was alloyed upon the call of the roll: Yeas (6).
On motion of Member Cole the claim of Beasley Marble & Granite Co.,
amounting to $4.00 was allowod upon the call of the roll: Yeas (6).
On motion of Member Cole Street Improvement Bond Interest Coupons
in the amount of $180.44 was alloyed upon the dall of the roll: Yea: (6).
On ,motion of Member Cole the Cashier's Fund Miscellaneous claims
aller;dd by the Joint Finance Committee, amounting to $76.70 was allouod upon
the call of the roll: Yeas (6).
•On motion of Member Cole the pay roll for the City amounting to
$10840.42 was alloyed upon the call of the roll: Yoas (6).
On motion of Member Cole the action of the City Solicitor in settling
the suit of Eula Billings agaitat the 81ty of Paducah was approved upon the
call of the roll: Yeas (6).
On motion of Member Bell the action of the Council was concurred
in relative to the inventory report of the vakipus Departments of the City.
Adonted upon the call of the roll: Yeas (6).
On motion of Member Bell the action of the Council was concurred
in relative to the suit of Ludy B. Yancey, Admat, of TJ. L. Yancey. Adopted
upon the call of the roll: Yeas (6).
On motion of Member Davis the r•otion of the Board of Cohncilmen
was concurred in r&lative to the Storm Sewers in Zone "B". Yeas (6).
On motion of Membor Cole the blue print of the construction of
concrete sido:ralks abutting low ground on 17th Stroot betwoon Broadway Street
and Fentucky Ave ., was concurred In. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas (6�

tno clairm of Blackman & Pont Pipe Company, VlX John Orions, XXX, Gardner Coal Co.,
and Yanccy Bros. and Fito, against the McKelvey Construction Company. Adonted
