At a regular meeting; of the Board of i.ldermen held on the Third Floor of the City Hall, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, April the 9th, 1927, President Hannin presided, and upon the call of the roll the following answered to their names: Hannir_, Bell, Davis, Dunbar, Hendrick, Rieke and Tyree. (7). Minutes of the previous meetings of March the 21st and March the 29th, 1927, were adopted as read. Member Rieke offered motion to allow the pay roll of X511750.50. Adopted Pay rolls. on the call of the roll: Yeas (7). Same offered motion to allow claims in the amount of $$158.19. Adopted on Claims. the call of the roll: Yeas (7). Same offered motion to allow freight bill of the Nashville, Chattanooga, N.C.& St. L. F.F.Co. & St. Louis R.R. for $149.33, freight on car load of rock asphalt. Adopted on the call Freight bill. of the roll: Yeas (7). Same offered motion that in the case of the City of Paducah, vs: Paducah Paducah Sand & Gravel Corporation, pending in the U. S. District Court, that the compromise Sand & Gravel settlement submitted be authorized and approved, and that the attorney for the City Co. be authorized and directed to consumate such settlement and to take proper orders in said Court to show such disposition of said action.
