(7). Minutes of previous meeting were adopted as read and corrected. Member Rieke offered motion that the regular monthly pay roll in the Pay rolls, amount of :,�,10632.68 be allowed. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas (7). Same offered the following: "Whereas, the salary of G, C: Appleton, Assistant City engineer, for the last half of July, amount 1,?175.00, was not included G. C. in the Special i:ngineering Pay -roll, and was not approved by the Joint Finance Committee Appleton. in regular session, 1 move that same be allowed for payment, and the Clerk authorized to issue proper warrant on the Treasurer, same to be charged to the Hard Surface Street Improvement Fund." Rouse for monthly Estimate J.M.Rouse work done No. 2, for work done on Island Creek Bridge, in the amount of $2772.25 be allowed, same on Island Creek charged to Island Creek Bridge Fund. Same offered motion that the claim of Koller Plumbing Company for construction of Relief Sewers for Sewer District Ile. 2, prior to August 1st, 1926, Koller Plumbing for X1677.95, be allowed, same to be charged to Second District Sewer Fund. Adopted Co. on the call of the roll: Yeas (7). Same offered motion that the claim of Black & Veatch for $950.00, be Black & Veatch. allowed out of the Special Sewer Lateral Fund. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas (7). Same offered the following: "t'Jhereas the amount of ?1000.00 allowed -the Treasurer to refund the loo Blanket Raise included in the Tax Assessment for the Refund 10t Blan- year 1926 is not sufficient to pay all refunds. I ryove that the Treasurer be allowed ket raise. an additional }500.00 for this purpose and the Clerk be authorized to issue a warrant for said amount to be placed in a special fund and report back in due course of time the amount used for refunds." Same offered the following: "Clhereas there are unpaid tax bills for the cost of Sewers in Zones #1 and #3 in the amount of fj4,118.49, payable to the Koller Koller Plumbing company. ind whereas s,iid Koller Plumbing Company has demanded the Plumbing Co, full payment of said tax bills in cash; and there has been paid into the Treasury thereon the sum of X7460.93: I move that the City Treasurer be authorized and directed to nay to said Koller Plumbing Company the amount of said cash collections in the sum of $460.93; and that the City Treasurer and Mayor be authorized to borrow. the sum of $3657.56 to cover the unpaid balance of said tax bills and to pledge as security for such loan all of said unpaid tax bills."
