At a Call Mectinr* of the Board of Aldermen held on the Tbird
Floor of the City Hall, in the City of Paducah, Ky., President Hannin presided,
and upon the call of the roll the following; answered to their names: Hannin,
Bell, Boyd, Choate, Cole, Dunbar, Rieke an:1 Tyree.(B).
Mayorfs Call was received and .filed.
Member Choate offered motion to concur in the action of the
Contract D.J.Ryan Bea_rl of Councilmen in acrarding contract to D. J. Ryan for hard surfacing

6treets. Streets, using oil asphalt on concrete base at a price of approximately $146993.00,
as recommended by the Board of Public ':corks. Adopted on the call of the roll:
Yeas: Hannin, Boyd, Choate, Cole, Dunbar, Rieke and Tyree. (7). Nuys: Bell (1).
Member Cole offered motion to go into Joint Session. Adopted
on the call of the roll: Yeas (B).

At a Joint Meeting of the General Council held on the Third Floor of
the City Hall, in the City of Paducah, Ky., July the 12th, 1926, President Hannin
presided, and upoi�the call of the roll the following answered to their names:
Hannin, Bell, Boyd, Choate, Cole, Dunbar, Rieke, Tyree, Hrummett, Crider, Doherty,
Fleming, Jacobs, Kerth, Owen, Stewart, Vogt Matson and !'Watts. (19).

:!ember Bell offered motion that upon recommendation of the Police &
Suspension of Fire Committee, I move that the action of the Council in suspending Fire Chief,
Fire Chief J. LL John M. Slaughter, be rescinded. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas: Hannin,
Slau..hter rescinded.
