At an adjourned Joint Meeting of the General Council held on the Third
Floor of the City lull, in the City of Paducah, Ky., June the 25th, 1926, President
Hannin presided, and upon the call of the roll the following answered to their names:
Hannin, Bell, Boyd, Choate, Cole, Dunbar, Rieke, Tyree, Johnston, Brummett, Crider,
Doherty, Fleming, Jacobs, Kerth, Owen, Stewart, Vogt, Watson and ':Iatts. (20).
minutes of the Joint Meetings of I -lay the 17th and June the 21st, 1925,
were adopted as read.
Charges preferred against the Chief of the Fire Department, J. M.

Chief. Yember Cole offered motion to go into Executive Session. adopted
on the call of the roll: Yeas (20).
Member Dunbar and Member Tyree left meeting.
Member Choate offered motion that Chief Slaughter be brought before
the General Council and reprimanded and retained as Fire Chief on probation .
Member Cole offered amendment to the above motion that Chief Slauphter
be suspended for thirty days without pay and reprimanded by the Mayor and Ch§irman of
Suspension the Police & Fire Committee, and placed on probation. Adopted on the call of the roll:

At a regular meeting to be held by the Board of Aldermen
on the Third Floor of the City Hall, in the City of Paducah, Ky., July the 5th, 1926,
President Hannin called the meeting to order, and upon the call of the roll the
folluaing answered to their names: Hannin and Choate (2).
As there was no quoram present the meeting adjourned until
Tuesday nipht, July the 6th, 1926, at 7:30 o'clock P. M.
