Same offered motion to concur in the action of the Board of Councilmen Health Dept. in regard to all employees of the Health Department being placed under the supervision of the Board of Health. At a joint meeting of the General Council held in the Council Chamber on the Third Floor of the City Hall, in the City of Paducah, Ky., May the 4th, 1925, President Hannin presided, and upon the call of the roll the following answer- ed to their names: Hannin, Boyd, Brooks, Dunbar, Rieke, Yopp, J. E. Cochran, Crider, Fleming, Holt, Hummel, Johnston, Korth, Mason, Owen, Stewart and Watts(17). :Zinutes of previous meetinft were adopted as read. two Member Yopp offered motion to go into election of,2Sanitary Inspectors. Sanitary Inspectors, The followingwere nominated: Herman Ackerman, William Lydon, John Gather and C. A. Russell. On motion the nominations were closed. Herman r.c'.cerman Upon the call of the rolli votes were received as follows: Harman „m . Lydon A. Russell Ackerman, 15 votes- Im. Lydon 10 votes; C. A. Russell, 7 votes and John Gather (1). �. John Gather. Ackerman and Lydon were elected and were so declared. City Physician Member Yopp offered motion to go Into the election of City Physician. Dr. W. J. Bass and Dr. Edward Adams %yere nominated. On motion nominations were closed. Upon the call of the roll votes were received as follow a: Dr. Bass 12 votes; Dr. Adams 4 votes, Member Rieke not voting. Dr. N. J. Bass Dr. 17• J. Bass was elected City Physician and was so declared. City Physician.
