Upon the call of the roll the following answered to their names: Hannin, Boyd, Brooks, Choate, ':1, E. Cochran, Dunbar, Rieke, Yopp, Riglesberger, J. E. Conhrun,Crider, Fleming, Holt, Johnston, Kerth, Mason, Owen, Stowart and 17atts. (19). The minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read. '•:ember Rieke offered motion to go into the election of Chain Gang Bean. Chain Gang 20;.^•. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yens (19). Ki 1.1ember (,hoate nominated 1.7. T. King for the office of Chain Gang Boss. I'jmcer Dunbar offered motion that the nomination be closed. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas (19). Upon the call of the roll, Mr. King received 19 votes and •."as elected Chain Gen;, Goss, and was no declared. On motion = eti.ng adjourned. _Ay 4 9 Same offered motion to concur in the action of the Board of Councilmen ". H. Collier in allowing 71. H. Collier and J. P. Kaler, to move a house from 732 Goebel Ave., J. P. Knler to but Yayfield Road. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas (8). hove house. Same offered motion to concur in the action of the Board of Councilmen in regerring to the Light & 'Nater Committee, the matter of extending the White Way Say, both North and South on Broadway. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas (8). Same offered motion to concur in the action of the Board of Councilmen Llht 12th & in referring to the Light & 'Nater Committee with power to act, the matter of light Gin-% Sts. at 12th & Clark Streets, Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas (8). Same offered motion to concur in the action of the Board of Councilmen in referring to the Police & Fire Committee with power to act, t1m complaint of Cit}� Jail. citizens of loud swearing and obscene language in the City Jail. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas (8). Re-cessed at 9:40 to go into Joirit Session. Re -Convened at 10:06 o'clock. P. 15., and adjourned.
