: JOINT SESSION OF THE GENERAL COUNCIL :
At a joint meeting of the General Council held on the Third Floor of the
City Hall, in the City of Paducah, Ky., March the 16th, President Hannin presided.
Upon the call of the roll the following answered to their names: Hannin, Boyd,
Brooks, Choate, ':1, E. Cochran, Dunbar, Rieke, Yopp, Riglesberger, J. E. Conhrun,Crider,
Fleming, Holt, Johnston, Kerth, Mason, Owen, Stowart and 17atts. (19).
The minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.
'•:ember Rieke offered motion to go into the election of Chain Gang Bean.
Chain Gang 20;.^•. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yens (19).
Ki 1.1ember (,hoate nominated 1.7. T. King for the office of Chain Gang Boss.
I'jmcer Dunbar offered motion that the nomination be closed. Adopted
on the call of the roll: Yeas (19).
Upon the call of the roll, Mr. King received 19 votes and •."as elected
Chain Gen;, Goss, and was no declared.
