Cole called the meeting to order. Upon the call of the roll the following answered to their names: Cole, Alliston, Brooks, Cochran, Davis, Rieke and Yopp. (7). The minutes of the previous meeting was adopted as read. 1ember Rieke offdred motion to adopt the resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION nUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY TREASURER OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, Ky., Rose. to borrow 430,000.00. TO BORROW THE SUPS OF $30,000.00 FROM ANY BANK OR BANKS IPI SAID CITY, AND TO EXECUTE NOTE OR NOTES THEREFOR ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY." Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas(7). In regard to the City Solicitor bringing in an ordinance allowing the City Jailer $20.00 per month for a cook. Motion lost upon the call of the roll: Yeaa: Alliston and Yopp.(2). Member Yopp offered motion to concur in the action of the Board of Gbuncilmen in regard to the Mayor being authorized to sell property at 10th & Clay Streets bpd =3 F1 re buy a lot at'a proper location, and build a new fire station, and buy a new pumper, Station 10th & 750 gallon capacity. Member Brooks offered motion to concur in the action of the Board of Councilmen mrs.Gcorgia in regard to granting request of Mrs. Georgia Foster and Mrs. 17. T. Lane, asking for Foster and repairs to their ear, which was damaged when it collided with one of the trucks ofethe Mrs. 71. T. Lane. City Used by the Street Department, and driven by C. it. Green.
