At a Call Meeting of the Board of Councilmen held on the Third Floor of the City Hell, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, March the 29th, 1927, President V,atson presided, and upon the call of the roll the following answered to their names: flatson, Brummett, Crtder, Doherty, Duvall, East, Johnston, Kerth, Ltattison and Stewart (10). Mayor's Call was read, received and filed. L".ember Duvall offered motion to adopt, receive and file the report bf the Assessor and the Board of Equalization of the assessed valuation of Renort of Asnesser real estate and personal property in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the year and -?oard of Fqu511zation• 1927, as certified by the City Auditor. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas: 7'atson, Brummett, Crider, Doherty, East, Kerth, Mattison and Stewart (9). Vember Johnston not voting. Member Kerth read an ordinance entitled "All ORDINANCE FIXING THE ordinsnee. Tax levy. LEVY OR RATE OF TAXATION ON PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR THE YEAR 1927, AND THE PATE OF THE POLL TAX, WITH THE PURPOSE OF RAID LEVY HEFEUNDER DEFINED." On motion same was given first passage upon the call of the roll: Yeas (10). On motion the rules were suspended and ordinance read by title upon the call of the roll: Yeas (10). On motion same was given second and final passage upon the call of the roll: Yeas (10). Yember Kerth read an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE CE. APPORTIONMENT OF THE PURLIC FUNDS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAP, KENTUCKY, FOR THE YEAR 1927." — Same offered motion to give ordinance first passage. Member Johnston offered..an-Tmendmentt to the above ordinance that the Health Nurse apportionment be increased to `$`2100.00, and $1000.00 of ,. ,•: same be charged to the contingent fund. Lost upon the call of the roll: Yens: Doherty and Johnston (2), Nays: 17at:son, Brummett, Duvall, Fast, Kerth, kattison an,l Stewart (7). Vember Crider not voting.
