Member Owen offered motion to concur in the action or the Board of Aldermen in adopting the following{: ""-IIN'RFA:3 tho reflindinP, bonds of the City of '>r3s• Paducah, Kentucky, in the sum of :Y33,000.00, purchased by Block, Fr,?a�r and Trost r frost. cannot be delivered until J+aly 1, 1926; and, 17HEREAS the City of Paducah has outstanding= railroad refunding; bonds An the sum of 838,000.00, and the names and addresses of the holders of said bonds are not ltnovm to the City, and all or said bonds will be due and payable at the i'.echar.ics and Metals National Bank, 20 Nassau Street, New York City, Ne:; York on July 1, 1926, together with accrued interest for the last six months prior thereto; I move that the Mayor and City Treasurer be authorized and directed to forward to the Ecchanics and Metals National Bank, 20 Nassau Street, New `fork City, New York the sum of t„5,000, payable from the Sinking Fund of said City, to he applied upon the principal of' said outstanding; bonds, and also the accrued interest for the past six months; and also that they be directed to make definite arrangements with Block, Fetter and Trost, the purchaser of said bonds, with reference to the payment of the purchase price of ?33,000.00 in a satisfactory manner, to effect a retirement of the old bonds, and a delivery of the new issue mentioned.” Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas (10).
