Report on t?ember Hummel offered motion that the •:Yater Committee make official report i:'ater Franchise.on 'Yater Franchise Ordinance. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas: Cochran, Fleming, Hummel, Kerth, Mason and ,7atts.(6)Nays: Riglesberger, Johnston, Owen and Stewart. (4). Member Crider came into rueeting. The Light and Vater Committee offered as their report, an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE AND ESTABLISH A FRANCHISE TO CONSTRUCT, OWN, ACgUIRE, ':later Fr•mchise. f::AINTAIN AND USE A WATER INORKS PLANT AND WATER DISTRIBUTING SYSTEM ?'+'ITHIN THE i CORPORATE LIMITS OF PADUCAH, AND INVESTING THE PURCIiASER THEREOF 17ITH THE RIGHTS, PO",.*ER AND PRIVILEGES HEREIN SET FORTH, AND IMPOSING UPON SUCH PURCHASER THE DUTIES AND j RESPONSIBILITIES SET OUT IN THIS ORDINANCE." Member Hummel offered motion that report be turned over to Ordinance Committee- Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas: Cochran, Fleming, Hummel, nert4 Mason and Watts. (6).
