AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY, TRANSPORTATION
CABINET, DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
FOR TURNING LANE IMPROVEMENTS FROM U.S. 60 TO JAMES -SANDERS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract between
the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Highways, and the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
for turning lane improvements from U.S. 60 to James -Sanders Boulevard. The Department will
reimburse the City up to $31,056 for completion of this project.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
