AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH MEEKS ELECTRIC FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State Contract No.
BP010354, and competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
a contract with Meeks Electric for the installation of traffic signals at the intersection of
9th and Jefferson Streets in the amount of $15,485.00, in compliance with Kentucky State
Purchasing Contract.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 001-
2202-531-3917.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
