ORDINANCE NO. 2002-3-6493
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WAUSAU TILE FOR
THE PURCHASE OF PLANTERS AND BENCHES AND, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Wausau Tile in
the amount of $14,814.00, for furnishing the City with 20 planters, 4 benches and 3
snuffers for the Downtown Streetscape II project, said purchase being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid
of Wausau Tile of March 4, 2002.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Wausau Tile for furnishing the City with planters, benches and snuffers as authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to account number 040-
3315-532-2307 (CD0051)
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
