HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002-3-6492245 ORDINANCE NO. 2002-3-6492 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF COLE ELECTRIC FOR THE PURCHASE OF DECORATIVE LIGHTING FOR THE DOWNTOWN AREA AND, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Cole Electric for furnishing the City with decorative lighting for the downtown area at the following cost: Single pole $1,781 each Double pole 3,081 each Triple pole 4,220 each Said purchase being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Cole Electric of February 27, 2002. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Cole Electric for furnishing the City with decorative lighting as authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to account number 001- 2202-531-3918. SECTION 4.
