AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MIDSTATES CONSTRUCTION
CO, INC., FOR THE NOBLE PARK POOL RENOVATIONS PHASE II PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Midstates Construction Co,
Inc., in an amount not to exceed $139,607 for the Noble Park Pool Renovations Phase II Project
which includes work for the concession stand upgrade and the inclusion of hot water to each of
the restrooms, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement
for bids, and as contained in the bid of Midstates Construction Co, Inc., dated December 5, 2012.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Flener
Brothers, Inc., for the purchase and installation of fencing, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to project account PA0095.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
