AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID FOR THE PADUCAH CITY
HALL HVAC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Swift and Staley
Mechanical Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $169,000.00 for the Paducah City Hall
HVAC Improvement Project, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications, advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Swift and Staley of
November 2, 2004.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Swift and Staley Mechanical Contractors, Inc. for furnishing the City with HVAC repairs
and upgrades as authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal, and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.

SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to the City Hall HVAC
