AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2004-6-6827,
ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2004,
THROUGH JUNE 30, 2005, BY ESTIMATING REVENUES AND RESOURCES AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF CITY GOVERNMENT"
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to reappropriate funds for the 2004-
2005 budget which was adopted by Ordinance No. 2004-6-6827; and

SECTION 1. That the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
2004, and ending June 30, 2005, be amended by a supplemental appropriation in the
amount of $225,000 to General Fund -Fund Transfer Out line item.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to KRS 83A.060, the City Commission suspends the
requirement of a second reading and publication of this Ordinance. Therefore, the City
Commission does hereby declare an emergency to exist because of an impending deadline for
the execution of an agreement with an economic development prospect, American Justice
School of Law.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become
