AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN ADDENDUM TO
AGREEMENT TO ESTABLISH PADUCAH/McCRACKEN COUNTY
GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM TO INCLUDE

COMMUNICATION SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAME AND APPROVING AN ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT TO
ESTABLISH PADUCAH/McCRACKEN COUNTY GEOGRPAHIC
INFORMATION SYSTEM TO ADD AND INCLUDE
PADUCAH/McCRACKEN COUNTY JOINT SEWER AGENCY AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 99-1-5988, authorized the City of
Paducah to execute an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the City of
Paducah and the County of McCracken, for the establishment of a joint Paducah -
McCracken County Geographic Information System; and
WHEREAS, Paducah Water Works and Electric Plant Board of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, d/b/a Paducah Power System have participated as
members to the Paducah/McCracken County Geographic Information System; and
WHEREAS, Paducah -McCracken County Emergency
Communication Service Board (E-911) authorized an addendum dated August 22,
2002 to be a participating agency; and
WHEREAS, the Paducah -McCracken County Joint Sewer Agency
wishes to become a participating agency; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of all parties that these Addendums be
deemed an integral part of said agreement.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. City of Paducah hereby confirms its participation in the
Paducah/McCracken County Geographic Information System in conjunction with
McCracken County, Paducah Water Works and Electric Plant Board of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, d/b/a Paducah Power System.
SECTION 2. That the City of Paducah hereby approves an addendum
to agreement to establish Paducah/McCracken County Geographic Information

System to include Paducah/McCracken County E-911 Emergency Communication
Services by addendum dated August 22, 2002 as a participating agency.
SECTION 3. That the City of Paducah hereby approves an addendum
to agreement to establish Paducah/McCracken County Geographic Information
System to add and include Paducah/McCracken County Joint Sewer Agency as a
participating agency.
SECTION 4. That the City of Paducah authorizes the Mayor to
execute the aforementioned addendums approved in Sections 1 and 2 above.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
