ORDINANCE NO. 2004-11-6887
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF PADUCAH FORD IN THE
TOTAL AMOUNT OF $104,635.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF VEHICLES FOR USE BY
VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bids of Paducah Ford in the total
amount of $104,635.00, for vehicles for use by the Public Works Department, said bids being in
substantial compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in the bids of Paducah Ford, of
August 31, 2004 and October 4, 2004, for sale to the City of the following:
3/4 Ton Gas Super Cab Pickup Truck 4 Wheel Drive - 2 @ $22,349.00 =
$44,698.00
One Ton Crew Cab Dump Truck -1 @ $39,950.00
3/4 Ton Gas Crew Cab Pickup Truck 2 Wheel Drive —1 @ $19,987.00
Totals - 4 vehicles = $104,635.00
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Paducah
Ford for the purchase of various vehicles, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. These purchases shall be charged to Fleet Lease Trust account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
