AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CHESTER MECHANICAL,
INC., FOR HVAC RENOVATIONS AT THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Chester Mechanical,
Inc., in the amount of $411,560.00 for HVAC renovations at the Paducah Police Department,
1400 Broadway, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications,
advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of Chester Mechanical, Inc. of October 19,
2004.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
contract with Chester Mechanical, Inc. for HVAC renovations, as authorized in Section 1 above,
pursuant to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
