HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004-10-6875ORDINANCE NO. 2004-10-6875 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO PURCHASE A K-9 DOG FOR THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, a written determination has been made by the City Manager that due to the retirement of the present K-9 dog and the need to have another K-9 trained dog in place said purchase was made pursuant to Sec. 2-659 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to pay to Vohne Liche Kennels the sum of $10,454.60 for purchase of a K-9 dog and handler training for the Paducah Police Department. SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be funded from the Police Department budget. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: Tammara S.
