HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004-9-6873ORDINANCE NO. 2004-9-6873 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TENNI-TRAC SPORTS SURFACES FOR THE RESURFACING OF THE NOBLE PARK TENNIS COURTS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Tenni-Trac Sports Surfaces in the amount of $22,000.00, for the resurfacing of the Noble Park tennis courts, said purchase being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of Tenni-Trac Sports Surfaces of September 3, 2004. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Tenni-Trac Sports Surfaces for resurfacing the Noble Park tennis courts as authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Parks Services Capital Projects Account. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: Tammara S.
