AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A LETTER OF PROPOSAL DATED AUGUST 23, 2004 TO CONDUCT A
MARKET ANALYSIS FOR THE CITY'S DOWNTOWN AND WATERFRONT AREA
WHEREAS, the City proposes to conduct a market study that identifies
commercial and residential development potentials for downtown Paducah; and
WHEREAS, the City has a need for professional services necessary for the
development and design of a Downtown Riverfront Master Plan; and

WHEREAS, Economics Research Associates is knowledgeable in this area of
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor
to execute an agreement with Economics Research Associates in the amount of $37,750.00 to
conduct a market analysis for the City's downtown and riverfront area.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to the Planning Department
Services -Other Account.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
