AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH'S
PAVEMENT MARKING PROGRAM FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 2004 CALENDAR YEAR
AND FOR THE 2005 CALENDAR YEAR
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City accepts the bid of Brehm Striping Company, Inc. for
pavement marking work for the City of Paducah's Pavement Marking Program, for the remainder of
2004 and calendar year 2005, with the option of a one-year extension, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of Brehm Striping Company, Inc.,
of May 4, 2004, for the following unit prices:

SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract
with Brehm Striping Company, Inc., for pavement marking work authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid of May 4, 2004.

SECTION 3. Expenditures for the City's pavement marking program shall be
charged to various accounts.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective upon summary publication
pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
