ORDINANCE NO. 2004-5-6821
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR THE LANDSCAPING WORK FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR THE
REMAINDER OF THE 2004 CALENDAR YEAR AND FOR THE 2005 CALENDAR YEAR, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City accepts the bid of James Sanders Nursery, Inc. for
landscaping work for the City of Paducah for the remainder of 2004 and calendar year 2005, with a
one-year extension, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, and as
contained in the bid of James Sanders Nursery, Inc., of May 4, 2004, for the following unit prices:

SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with
James Sanders Nursery, Inc., for landscaping work authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid of
May 4, 2004.
