ORDINANCE NO. 2004-5-6820
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH' S
BRICK REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 2004
CALENDAR YEAR AND FOR THE 2005 CALENDAR YEAR, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City accepts the bid of James Sanders Nursery, Inc. for brick
removal and replacement work for the City of Paducah's Brick Removal and Replacement Program,
for the remainder of 2004 and calendar year 2005, with the option of a one-year extension, said bid
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of James
Sanders Nursery, Inc., of May 4, 2004, for the following unit prices:

SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract
with James Sanders Nursery, Inc., for brick removal and replacement work authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid of May 4, 2004.
SECTION 3. Expenditures for the City's brick removal and replacement program
shall be charged to various accounts.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective upon summary publication
pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
