ORDINANCE NO. 2004-5-6819
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH' S
CONCRETE PROGRAM FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 2004 CALENDAR YEAR AND FOR
THE 2005 CALENDAR YEAR, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City accepts the bid of Wilkins Construction Company, Inc.,
for concrete work for the remainder of the 2004 calendar year and the 2005 calendar year with the
option of a one-year extension, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications,
and as contained in the bid of Wilkins Construction Company, Inc., of May 4, 2004, for the following
unit prices and hourly rates:

SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract
with Wilkins Construction Company, Inc., for concrete work at the unit prices and hourly rates as
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid of May 4, 2004.
SECTION 3. Expenditures for the City's concrete program shall be charged to
various accounts.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become
pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
