AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDERS 1 & 2 WITH WILKINS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY,
INC., FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PADUCAH PARKS PHASE I PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2003-10-6710 to enter into a
contract with Wilkins Construction Company, Inc., in the amount of $772,457.00 for
construction of the Paducah Parks Phase I Project; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for a decrease in the amount of
$1,200.00 to delete the removal of three construction signs from the contract and Change
Order No. 2 is required for an increase in the amount of $47,460.00, to provide a parking lot
and driveway for the 200+ person picnic shelter, in order to finalize the project for the above
referenced contract, increasing the total contract price to $818,717.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Orders 1 & 2 in the combined amount of $46,260.00 for the City of Paducah's Parks Phase I
Project, increasing the total contract price to $818,717.00.
