ORDINANCE NO. 2004 —1-6752
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AND APPROVE A SUBDIVISION ROAD
BOND OF CHD GROUP, LLC
WHEREAS, on November 25, 2003, the Board of Commissioners adopted
Ordinance No. 03-12-6727 which annexed the Grove Subdivision within the boundary of the
city limits, which subdivision is owned by CHD Group, LLC; and
WHEREAS, CHD Group, LLC, is desirous of constructing within said
subdivision various public improvements, including streets, roads, and right of ways; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to ordinance, it is necessary that CHD Group, LLC,
provide to the City a road bond to be accepted by the City.
NOW, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City of Paducah, Kentucky, as follows:
Section 1. The City Commission does hereby approve an Irrevocable Letter of
Credit, No. L03465 1 offered by CHD Group, LLC, which Irrevocable Letter of Credit is dated
December 16, 2003, and issued by Union Planters Bank. The Mayor of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, is hereby authorized to execute and approve said Irrevocable Letter of Credit as the
road bond.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be read on two separate dates and will
become effective upon summary publicati to KRS 424.
