HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004-3-6781ORDINANCE NO. 2004-3-6781 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GIFT OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT SOUTH 2ND STREET AND CLARK STREET AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A DEED AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING TO T SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby accepts a gift of real property from Paducah & Louisville Railway, Inc., located at 140 Clark Street, and being more particularly described as follows: PERMANENT RIGHT OF WAY A portion of property situated on the Southeast corner of the intersection of Second Street and Clark Street in Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point at the southeast intersection of the right-of-way of Second Street and Clark Street; thence from the point of beginning along the western right-of-way line of Second Street South 28 degrees 30 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 61.00 feet to a point in the Second Street right-of-way; thence North 04 degrees 05 minutes 33 seconds East a distance of 72.40 feet to a point in the southern right-of- way line of Clark Street; thence with the southern right-of-way line of Clark Street South 61 degrees 30 minutes 00 seconds West a distance of 39.00 feet to the point of beginning containing 0.03 acres (1,190 square feet). As surveyed by Civil Design Group, inc., on July 21, 1999, A. Clay Robinson, P.L.S. #3219. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a deed and all documents necessary to transfer the above-described real property to the City of Paducah. SECTION 3.
