AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR INTERNET -BASED AUCTION SERVICES FOR THE
CITY OF PADUCAH

WHEREAS, the City intends to participate in an Internet -based auction system;
WHEREAS, the City has a need for online auction services so items will be able
to be listed for sale and for potential buyers to bid upon; and

WHEREAS, GovDeals, Inc., has in its employ persons experienced in this area of
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute an
agreement with GovDeals, Inc., for providing to the City Internet -based auction services.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
