ORDINANCE NO. 2004-3-6771
AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL
AGREEMENT NO. 1 BETWEEN THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY
TRANSPORTATION CABINET, DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 2003-8-6672, the City of Paducah authorized a
contract in the amount of $750,000 reimbursable funding with the Commonwealth of Kentucky,
Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways for the Pecan Drive/Buckner Lane Extension
Bridge Construction Project; and
WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Transportation Cabinet,
Department of Highways agrees to make available to the City an additional $143,822 in
reimbursable funding, bringing the total to $893,822; and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the original contract approved by
Ordinance No. 2003-8-6672 remain the same and are legally binding; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah and the Commonwealth of Kentucky,
Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways agree to Supplemental Agreement No. 1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby ratifies and approves Supplemental
Agreement No.I with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Transportation Cabinet, Department of
Highways for additional reimbursable funding in the amount of $143,822 for the extension of the
Pecan Drive/Buckner Lane Extension Bridge Construction Project.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
