AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE AN ENGAGEMENT LETTER WITH PECK, SHAFFER & WILLIAMS
LLP, FOR SERVICES TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH AS BOND COUNSEL FOR
2004 GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND ISSUE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1 That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
an Engagement Letter between the City of Paducah and Peck, Shaffer & Williams LLP.,
for providing services to the City as Bond Counsel for 2004 General Obligation Bond
Issue.
SECTION 2. The Finance Director will process expenditures through
account Bond Issue — 2004.
SECTION 3. An emergency is hereby declared to exist due to the need to
meet the City's accelerated construction schedule commitment for an economic
development investment and this ordinance shall become effective immediately with one
reading.
